    FUN. COMMUNITY. GROWTH.

The Camp Diversity Foundation was established in 2007 to provide an opportunity for economically disadvantaged boys to experience Christian community in a traditional camp setting.

The CDF believes that a summer camping experience can provide the opportunity for a young man to develop and strengthen Christian values. Appropriately structured challenges can impact personal growth, build self-esteem, self-respect, self-confidence and self-reliance. Learning to live in Christian community, especially within a traditional resident camp setting and under the mentoring of Christian leadership, can have a profound and lasting effect on a young man.

OUR GOAL

The goal is to provide a camp experience for 75-100 boys each summer. “Adventure Week” campers may then graduate into a traditional 2 week “Classic” session at our current host camp…Camp Rockmont for Boys in Black Mountain, N.C. The number of boys who are able to attend Adventure Week is directly dependent on the level of giving.

ADVENTURE WEEK

Since 2008, Adventure Week has been a life changing opportunity for over a thousand economically disadvantaged boys. Adventure Week is creatively designed to provide participants with a unique opportunity for fun, adventure and growth. Contact Sarah Becker at Camp Rockmont for the current year’s Adventure Week Dates.

TARGETED AGE GROUP

The targeted age group is 10-12 years of age.  Boys from families whose income does not exceed 175% of the federal poverty level will be considered.

The Camp Diversity Foundation invites you to share the rewards of camp with well deserving young men. Your contributions are tax-deductible.
